Participate
Alongside our performance work is our mission to bring the joy of aerial to you. Fidget Feet have founded a number of different initiatives to help do this. See below for full details.
Irish Aerial Dance Fest
Anyone can fly. Come and learn how. For two weeks every June, the Irish Aerial Dance Fest (IADF) provides workshops and performances for anyone who’s ever wanted to learn, or to just come along and watch. Anyone can do it. It’s held in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal in Ireland and we teach aerial dance and aerial circus. In the IADF we offer beginner’s courses, week passes, two week passes and performances. Don’t be afraid, give it a look. The IADF is run by Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Theatre in conjunction with An Grianán Theatre and Letterkenny County Council.
Irish Aerial Creation Centre
The Irish Aerial Creation Centre (IACC) is a place for people to unlock their creativity. It is a centre for the creation and educational of Aerial Arts in Ireland. We are a unique addition to the cultural fabric of Limerick and Ireland. The IACC will be the only purpose-fit space for aerial circus in Ireland. It will raise the profile of aerial circus in Ireland and internationally and provide a home for Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Company, world-class aerialists, enthusiasts, hobbyists and pure beginners alike.
Community Participation
Bringing our work into your community is one of the things we believe in most. We work regularly with groups like the Galway Community Circus and the Clifden Arts Festival among others to bring the joy of aerial and circus into towns, villages and communities across the entire country. Through workshop programmes, parade events or performance projects, we can work with you or your organisation to create a participatory event unique to your needs.
